Captain Jack Sparrow cosplayer at the Brentwood Comic Con and Toy Fair at the Brentwood Centre. The Brentwood Comic Con and Toy Fair is a new event this year and is likely to be an annual event. Visitors were also encouraged to dress up as their favorite film characters. There was a large commercial element with over a hundred stalls selling film memorabilia including toys, posters, gaming cards, and the like. The event had over two thousand visitors and received glowing social media reviews. Visitors were a mix of young children with their parents, older, veteran gamers, and memorabilia collectors.
