This is a beautiful vintage evening bag or purse dating from the 1950's. It's made of soft black fabric and the front is covered with lovely hand done petit point embroidery. There are roses and forget me nots, green leaves and curved scrolls. The square frame is gold toned with an engraved design. The kiss clasp is made up of two hollow filigree style balls. The handle is a chain in a more muted gold tone. This is lined with black grosgrain with a pocket.
